Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as a transaction?

To estimate your number of monthly transactions, add up the following:

Number of employees +

Number of invoices issued +

Number of invoice payments received +

Number of bills received +

Number of bill payments made +

Number of expenses

Your billing tier will be determined based on the average number of transactions you do.

How much input will my accountant need from my side?

Once your account is set up, your accountant will handle everything for you. We will only need your input if a transaction is not clear, and you will be notified via email or telephone call.

Which accounting software can you work with?

We are experts in Xero, Quickbooks and Zoho Books, all of which are global and reputed accounting software. You will be able to log into your account at any time if you want a deep dive into your books. Our preference for new clients is Xero and we can migrate any existing data to the Xero platform.

I do my accounting in Excel. Can I switch to an accounting software?

Yes! During the onboarding phase, your account manager will help you transfer your records into one of the accounting software packages we work with.

How do you capture my data?

We provide you with a corporate Dropbox account to allow on-going upload of invoices, receipts, and other accounting documentation.

Some of my invoices or bills are in paper format, is that fine?

Yes. We have a dedicated accounts payable specialist who handles all supplier invoice processing and statement of account reconciliations.

How often will my books be prepared?

They will be prepared monthly within 10 working days of the end of the previous month provided all information is provided in a timely manner.

Which Certifications do you hold?

All our Associates are qualified accountants as well as being Xero certified Advisers. UBS Consultants also holds the ISO9001:2015 quality management accreditation to ensure quality is embedded into our processes.
